Les confitures du Climont
In the Vallée de la Bruche (1h from Strasbourg), the Krencker family will make you discover the Alsatian tradition of jam. The father, Fabrice, was sacred “Best French Jam-Maker” in 2010. Every jam lover will be pleased to be able to visit the family jam factory, and you will be able to taste them at the end ! Their values in favor of the environment are put forward in their products : local, recyclable package, bulk selling, creation of “crufiture”.
But, what is “Crufitures” ? It’s a word game with “cru” – raw – and “confiture” – jam -. It’s a jam where the fruits aren’t cooked. It allows a better nutritional value, no use of gas or electricity to dry the fruits.
